Location and Accomodation
The AttritiCon will take place in lovely Ulm.
The highest church tower of the world, behind the historical old
city of Ulm.
The AttritiCon takes place at the Kienlesbergbastion/Werk X. This is two bus stops to the city center and three bus stops to the main station. This is also walkable - at least for the more agile ones.
- The standard accomodation is the youth
hostel. This is located lovely, but outskirts. You need approximately 30 min. by bus, including changing. Late gamers (after midnight) are forced for a taxi
drive. The rooms are 4-6 beds a room, some unlucky may get one of the few
8-bed-rooms.
- The IBIS Hotel is located nearby the city center (one bus stop from main station, two bus stops from
AttritiCon).
- The Hotel Lehrer Tal is located 200m from the AttritiCon. This very small (18 rooms) private-run Hotel is located on the far side of the AttritiCon, therefore located best for the Con, but less so for exploring the city
center.
- Other hotels close to the spot: Neutor, Stern
A bus ticket is EUR 1.70 per direction, regardless of distance.
Better value is a day ticket for five persons. Cost EUR 6,-
However, usually, you will be given a lift by people arriving by car.
